We also provide volunteering options for schools to come and see first hand the work City Mission do and to play their part in making their community a better place.

School groups can come big or small to help out at one of our services or facilities and make the most out of a stint out of their usual school environment.

Highlights

November 2024 - Scotch Oakburn College

Year 9 students came to volunteer at City Mission as part of their community service commitments. Over two days 56 students helped out at our Youngtown, Newnham, Prospect, and Ravenswood stores.

The fun included sorting clothes and other items, price tagging items for sale, trimming fabrics, and helping out around the store.
