Manager Container Deposit Scheme Launceston

City Mission is introducing the Recycle Rewards scheme In Launceston and the North-West area by establishing automated depot’s in Launceston and Somerset, each capable of processing 12,000 containers per hour. The Recycle Rewards scheme aims to increase recycling rates and reduce litter by up to half across Tasmania by offering a 10c refund for returning eligible drink containers. This position is responsible for the management of operations at the Wynyard Mission Shop in the delivery of quality goods and service. The employee will be required to develop positive working relationships with peers, management, the general public, stakeholders and other functional areas within the organisation.

Retail Assistant - Burnie and Wynyard

City Mission is seeking a casual retail assistant for our Mission Shops across the North West. The successful applicants will be available for ‘ONCALL’ casual work Monday to Saturday and able to travel to our shops in various locations across Burnie and Wynyard.
Primarily, a retail assistant will be responsible for: customer service, merchandising, maintaining and ordering stock, opening and closing the shop, and operation of equipment.
