Mission Health

Mission Health is a drop in nurse-practitioner-led health service providing free health care to people experiencing homelessness who may otherwise go without. 

    • General health assessments & education

    • Minor health issues: chest infections, skin infections etc.         

    • Chronic health management: diabetes, asthma etc.         

    • Medication support     

    • Referrals to other health services and specialists       

    • Immunisations

    • Wound care      

    • Pathology    

    • Chronic health issues (diabetes, asthma, etc)

    • Minor procedures 

    • Monitoring of skin lesions. 

Mission Health is now open from Monday to Thursday. To see a member of the health team, drop in and register at Mission Health reception, 99 Wellington St. Launceston, or call City Mission on 03 6335 3000

Due to the nature of this service, waiting times may vary so please be patient as our aim is to help as many people as we can.
